Prom 2017

I will always love doing Prom pictures!! It keeps me young ha ha! I love getting to see everyone all dressed up and full of excitement! I have also enjoyed being a part of Michaela’s life and capturing some pretty big milestones! We joked that she is going to have a special section of my website just of her ha ha! I love that she can be herself and she is up for basically anything!! I love willing clients! 🙂

Taydon Milestone

We met up in our hometown of Columbia and let Miss Taydon be the star! She didn’t put up much fuss and she styled her outfits like a little model…I enjoyed spending time with her and her mama. Taydon did great! 🙂 Ashley is my lifetime best friend and we both have little girls…so of course we had to do a best friends portion to Taydon’s session! I could have watched those two interact all day! They were so much fun, and of course when we brought out the bubbles it was on then!

Tori Senior

She is the baby of the family, the last one to graduate. Her kind eyes make you feel welcome and reveal her kind spirit. She is stunning! And OH! Those curls!! If you know her sisters, those curls are famous! I am a tinge jealous, until they tell me how much time it takes to get them looking good. Bless! Tori and I connected through our awkwardness and humor. I could not stop laughing and I had such a great time!

Maddox Newborn

Ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes. Is there anything better than a sweet new baby?! The more newborns I work with the more I fall in love with Newborn Photography!! Every baby is different and I have learned to let them lead the way! Baby Maddox was my biggest baby yet! He didn’t fit in one of my baskets so thankfully I was prepared with multiple setups. I couldn’t get over how alert he was! He wasn’t going to miss a thing!

My blessing

I am sure you have heard me rave about her before…and I will continue because she is really just amazing. You can tell a lot about her personality just by watching her on social media but you are missing out if you haven’t met her in person!! Her life is an open book and I value her honesty and realness. It is nice to see you are not alone when it comes to certain struggles…namely Motherhood!

Armstrong Newborn

Welcome to the world baby Bailey! Your parents and big sister are so glad you are here! You were my tiniest baby yet! Since you were still pretty fresh you hadn’t quite got the hang of being bossy yet and I was successful in getting you asleep and you staying asleep! One thing is for sure you really didn’t like to be naked and boy as soon as the smallest piece of skin was exposed you let us know!! You, my dear, have your daddy wrapped around your little finger. You also have your mama’s heart! And, you are the luckiest girl to have a helpful big sister and I am pretty sure you will never have to walk when she is around ha ha! I love it!

Helms Family

I am a huge advocate of lifestyle photography which allows moments to be curated and capturing real life. When you allow people to be themselves, their true personality shines through! Hillary wanted to capture her children being just that, children. So she kicked the fancy attire to the curb and went with comfy. We chose a relaxed setting and we went on a little adventure, exploring downtown through the eyes of a child.

I couldn’t tell you when it took hold of my life. I know when I conquered it. It is still a nagging feeling but instead of leaning on human life to pull me out, I lean heavily on God. His presence His relationship His love.

My word for 2017

For the past couple of years I have instead of making New Years Resolutions I have chosen a word for my upcoming year. The year 2015 was SOAR and boy did this little business of mine live up to that! The year 2016 was BOLD and although I am still a work in progress I have seen drastic changes in my life and have lived bolder and better!

Combs Maternity

The forecast called for rain but when I woke up it was nothing but fog…and I was secretly so excited!! Fog may look dreary and unappealing to some but it is so beautiful and soft. It made the perfect pairing for my couple. They were beautiful together, I couldn’t get over how they nailed every shot. It was like working with a couple of models! Dustin was so gentle and soft with Jessica, it was precious to watch. Jessica has this delicate beauty and she is just stunning!
