You may remember in my very first blog post (check it out here) about my eye opening phone call with Mary Kay. Sherri is the consultant that was my inspiration for calling and thinking about selling Mary Kay. Although I didn’t end up selling Mary Kay I can still credit Sherri for being such a wonderful influence and supportive friend.

Steve

When our last furbaby passed away I really didn’t think we would get another animal for awhile. I knew Grayden needed a companion but we put the idea of a cat on the back burner. Then Steve came along.

The Bowman Family

Heather and I sing together on the worship team at our church (don’t even get me started on her amazing voice!!). We have very similar personalities and are always getting in “trouble” for goofing off at practice! 🙂

My Favorites Part I

I decided to make a list of my favorite things. I wanted to keep it short enough to make it a blog post…but let me say…I have A LOT of favorite things!! So I have broken this into 2 posts (look for Part II next week!). These aren’t in any particular order and obviously my favorites include Jesus, Brent, Grayden, Photography, Friends and Family. This is a list of things most people may not know about me.

Behind the Scenes 2014

There aren’t very many but my assistant/brainstormer/friend Nicole snapped some pictures of me behind the scenes during some of the sessions I had this year. NONE of them are flattering…but who said being a photographer was glamorous?? 😉 And no I don’t shoot EVERYTHING vertical!! ha!

My Brother

I have a big brother. He was my first best friend. I know if I ever needed ANYTHING he would help if he was able. He is my constant in an ever changing family he is and will always be there. Of course growing up we fought (I mean we ARE siblings) but now that we are grown I appreciate him so much and I am so proud to call him my brother. No matter what.

Tyler & Nicole

I have known and worked with Nicole for a long time. She is like my right hand when it comes to sessions! Before they were engaged Tyler and Nicole let me take their photos for a fun shoot and I do believe it was around then I was really getting the bug to do pictures more than just for a hobby (but…..I put it on the back burner back then).
