Beloved

Sometimes they are quiet. Some are the life of the party. No matter their personality, they bring out the best in us, our better half. When documenting a love story I am always waiting for that look. The look that all men in love with their wives have. The look that reads, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, for an anxious groom. Or, I can’t wait to see you as the mother of my children, from an excited daddy to be. Then there is the look from the long time married couples, just pure adoration, even after the hard years there is joy. Oh, to be loved.

Combs Newborn

I believe this big boy wanted to show me who was boss…and he won!! I have never worked so hard in my life ha ha!! All he wanted to do was check everybody and everything out and the last thing on his mind was SLEEP. But that’s ok, I loved looking into his little face and him watching what was going on around him!! The more I work with newborns the more I see who runs the show! 🙂

Keely Senior

Quiet but she is full of fire! She reserves her biggest smiles for when she is the happiest…and I think she is happy to be graduating!! Her beautiful soul shines through those big brown eyes! I have known Keely all her life and I am so super proud of her!!

Taydon Newborn

I cannot get over how sweet little Taydon is!! Oh how I enjoyed spending time with her, her mama and her grandma! She did so so good for being almost a month old…but she sure did make me work for it! Ha Ha! She made sure to let me know SHE was running this show! She also let us know when she had enough!

Mark and Andrea Maternity

I am going to be an Aunt…again!!! I am so super excited!! Brent’s brother and sister-in-law are having a baby boy in October!! It will be their first baby, the third Powell grandbaby and second Powell boy!

Nicole and Tyler Anniversary

When you love sunflowers and you hear of a sunflower field AND you have permission to shoot there you just go, you grab your people and you GO! It doesn’t hurt that your people include a sailor home on leave and their anniversary is a couple weeks away!! Gosh I love these two!! And props to Tyler for his picture growth and rocking this session!! Nicole is a pro and I don’t have to give much direction she just nails each shot! Know why she is on my team now?? 🙂
